//ABOUT

Behind Epsiio,
one person.

Édouard Porcheron, freelance developer based in Normandy.

— Twenty years building and running business tools in enterprise IT, ten of them in Shanghai. In China, an idea becomes a product in a few weeks, companies adopt AI in a few months where we're still debating it for years in France. Not because they're smarter — because they're more pragmatic. That's the approach I bring here with Epsiio: build what serves, ship fast what works, leave the rest.

20 years of experience

In enterprise IT — building and running business tools, managing infrastructure, driving projects end to end.

10 years in China

In Shanghai, in direct contact with a digital ecosystem in permanent acceleration and companies that put AI into production before talking about it in meetings.

2 years of applied AI

Automations, intelligent agents, augmented business tools. Making AI useful in day-to-day work, not just impressive in demos.

//WHO I AM

A long path, a simple intention

My name is Édouard Porcheron. I studied computer science and development in France, in Normandy, then spent the next twenty years building business tools for companies that couldn't find what they needed in off-the-shelf products. My first projects were e-commerce sites, internal ERPs for industrial SMBs, client portals, management applications, custom integrations between systems that didn't talk to each other, intelligent automations and reporting long before the era of AI. I learned there what nobody teaches in school: the best tools come from an honest conversation with the end user, not from a fifty-page spec.

In 2016, I moved to China. Ten years in Shanghai, working for international groups and running projects with local teams. I saw up close how the Chinese digital ecosystem caught up with and then surpassed the West on many fronts — not so much by technical sophistication as by speed of execution and obsession with the field. In just a few years, these players adopted AI at blazing speed, and automated their operations on a scale the West still struggles to imagine.

Since my return to France in 2026, I've kept that compass: build fast, build useful, and never lose sight of the problem we're trying to solve.

//MY BACKGROUND

One thread: tools that serve

//WHY EPSIIO

The small variable that changes everything

I launched Epsiio because I'm convinced of one thing: the best enterprise tools aren't bought, they're built. And they're built all the better when one person understands both the code, the business, and what really hurts day to day. Multi-tier structures dilute that understanding across project managers, briefs and scoping meetings. I prefer to speak directly to the leader, the manager, the end user — and code what they need.

Too many French companies lose precious time — and money — on tools that don't fit them anymore, or on repetitive and tedious tasks that could be automated. Every day, I help my clients save hours, cut costs and improve efficiency through concrete and measurable solutions. They can then focus on what really matters: their growth and their creativity.

The name Epsiio comes fromepsilon (ε), the small variable that, in an equation, tips the balance of everything else.
That's exactly what I build: not a revolution — just the missing piece that changes the outcome.

//HOW I WORK

Direct, clear, transmissible

My method fits in four steps — understand, scope, build, hand over— but above all it hinges on a philosophy: be direct, honest, and accountable for the outcome. We start with thirty minutes of conversation, you walk me through your context, I tell you honestly if I'm the right person. If so, we move forward together, within forty-eight hours I send you a fixed-price quote, precise scope, met deadlines. Then I build, showing you intermediate versions regularly, so you adjust along the way rather than at the end. And I deliver: the code, the documentation, a handover session. What I build belongs to you — with no proprietary lock-in, no forced dependency.

//WHAT INTERESTS ME

Off-screen

Outside of work, I read a lot and keep learning about new technologies. Passionate about cinema, I watch American, French, and Asian films and series — whose patience and storytelling have taught me a great deal. My favorite genre remains science fiction — Interstellar on top — because the best speculative work asks the same questions we ask when building a good tool: where are we going, what really matters, and what do we leave behind.

I love moving. Discovering a country, a language, a way of doing things I wouldn't have imagined. Ten years in China taught me that the best ideas rarely come from home — they come from the shift, from rubbing against cultures that think differently.

I'm a dad, back in France after ten years abroad, so I'm living this re-anchoring period with all the strangeness and softness that come with it. What makes me read a book, an article, or watch a film is the same thing that makes me work with someone: the conviction that there is care in the details.

A project in mind ?

The first conversation is free and with no strings attached. We'll look together at whether what you're after is in my wheelhouse, and we'll only move forward if it makes sense for you and me.
